A San Francisco Hike: Batteries to Bluffs Trail

A photo I took on our last walk along the B to B trail.

My favorite part of living in San Francisco is actually escaping the concrete jungle -- and hiking through the Presidio.


The Batteries to Bluff Trail in the Presidio is a must. I highly suggest picking it up at Mountain Lake, right off Lake Street in the Richmond District, then wrapping your way around by the Golden Gate Bridge, and then heading down the stairs on the east side of the bridge to the Warming Hut for lunch. Then explore a bit of Crissy Field, before heading back up into the Preisido via McDowell Avenue.
